Welcome to the Impeachment e-mail list (discussion group)

A discussion group has been set up for Impeachment students. Participation in this group is voluntary. It is an "unmoderated" group, meaning that postings to the group are not screened. When you post a message to the group, all other subscribers receive it as email.

You can use the list to ask the professors and other students questions about the class - think of it as a virtual class session. You can use the list to discuss a hypo, to ask about the current reading assignment, or even to ask the professors a question you didn’t have time for in class.

Before you can use the list you must subscribe using your e-mail address. To subscribe, simply send an e-mail to majordomo@majordomo.lls.edu and in the body of the message (not the subject) type subscribe 371d1. (all lower case). That’s it! You will receive an e-mail message back confirming that you have been added to the list, and a second e-mail message giving you some basic information.

Here is how it works: list members send e-mail to 371d1@majordomo.lls.edu and the list sever automatically sends that e-mail to everyone on the list.

When replying to an e-mail sent to the list pay close attention to who you are sending your reply. Some replies should be sent back to the list, like answers to questions that interest the whole list. While other replies should be directed only to the person who sent the original e-mail. So, please double check your e-mail before you send it.

Direct any questions to the list administrator:

Professor Karl Manheim

e-mail: Karl.Manheim@lls.edu

telephone: 213-736-1106

Future upgrades to the list server will include an archive of mail posted to the list and a sortable html (world wide web) version of the archive.
