Instructions for Viewing & Downloading Flowcharts
All flowcharts are in .GIF format. Most internet browsers have built-in .gif viewers, so you should have no trouble viewing them. Simply click on the underlined flowchart name and the flowchart will be painted in a new window. Painting a flowchart may take up to a minute for slow modems.
Some flowcharts are offered in an enhanced version. These are viewable only with newer browsers that support frames. The enhanced version contains text explanations for the principal flowchart boxes.
Once a flowchart is fully painted on your screen, you can download it by clicking on the File menu, and then on Save or Save As. It should automatically be given the right name with a .gif extension. Just make sure you put it in a convenient directory. Once downloaded, you will need a graphical viewer or your internet viewer to open and view the flowchart. You can also print the chart out in this manner.
If you are viewing a multi-frame [enhanced] version of the flowchart, you'll want to Save both the flowchart and the Text Assist window below it.
For best printing results, click on Page Setup on your
Netscape File Menu. You should try .20 inch margins on all 4
sides. You should also look at the print preview before you send
the flowchart to your printer to make sure it will print out ok.
