Equity regards as done that which ought to be done

Equity looks to the intent, rather than to the form

He who seeks equity must do equity

He who comes into equity must come with clean hands

Equality is equity

Where there are equal equities, the first in time shall prevail

Where there is equal equity, the law must prevail

Equity aids the vigilant, not those who slumber on their rights
    (Vigilantibus non dormientibus aequitas subvenit)

Equity imputes an intention to fulfill an obligation

Equity will not suffer a wrong without a remedy
